Well as I post this you have left the loud night parties of Playa Del Carmen behind. I bet you still hear the bass beat as you fall asleep at night. How could they even talk over that noise? Enjoyed the video!

Nice comparison of two tours – you travel in my kind of style – inexpensive and laid back! I only took a tour-guided trip once – in China. While there met some independent travelers and wished I had done likewise.

The food sounds so delicious!

Hi Aunt Linda, So glad you’re enjoying our posts. Yes, that late night music has us on a later schedule. We have a few day trips around the area here – Tulum and Cozumel, travel to cenotes, ruins before leaving May 10 for Orange County. We’ll be there 10 days and then to Atlanta for a week, then a 10 day trip up to New England, where we’ll babysit Gracie for a few months this summer. Looking forward to seeing you!

Hi Diane, we’re only here until the 10th of May, so another week and half or so. Kathy says ‘hi’ too – and we dig your book cover. Definitely had it with the noise, but living a block from the Caribbean is a good trade off. Take care and good luck with your book!

Enjoyed the descriptons of Playa and tales of moving, settling in…sounds relaxing until 11 pm then Oh my!! I can imagine you right there loving it all.
